UCSB Undergraduate Summer Internship Opportunity at Quantum Foundry
The National Science Foundation and UCSB have recently launched the Quantum Foundry internship program to engage science and engineering California Community College, California State University, and other primarily undergraduate institution undergraduate students at the UC Santa Barbara campus for an 8-week summer research experience-June 22-August 14, 2020.
Undergraduate interns will gain first-hand experience in quantum-related scientific investigation via a dynamic, collaborative research environment. They are matched individually with Foundry faculty and graduate student lab mentors who provide ongoing training and support. Interns also participate in professional development activities preparing them for graduate research and the workforce.
The Undergraduate Internship webpage provides details about program benefits, student eligibility, and participating faculty. The deadline to complete the online application is February 11, 2020. After you have visited the program site, any additional questions can be sent to Wendy Ibsen, Program Coordinator <wendyibsen@ucsb.edu>.
