MATE Student Wins Scholarship from Northrup Grumman

The Los Angeles Chapter of ASM International (a professional society for materials engineers) awarded four scholarships in 2023 for a total of $9000. The Scholarship Committee selected from ten applicants from high schools and universities either going to school or living in the Greater Los Angeles area. Jesse Horowitz received a total of $3500, including $3000 from the Chapter and $500 from a scholarship fund established in memory of Russell Sherman, a long time member of ASM in the Los Angeles area.
