Guest Speaker - Dr. Greg Sueoka

On May 24, 2019, Medical Design Club, BMES, and QL+ will be hosting a video conference with esteemed patent attorney Dr. Greg Sueoka! Dr. Sueoka is the founder and managing partner of Patent Law Works, a large firm based in both the Bay Area and Salt Lake City. He has years of experience with patent law, and has agreed to video in with us to share his insights, suggestions, and experiences to everyone! As engineers, patents will become a key part of our careers to make sure what we design or discover is protected, so Dr. Sueoka's presentation will cover the basics of patenting to familiarize you with process as well as answer any questions that you might have! This is an excellent opportunity to make a new connection, ask questions, and learn more about protecting your ideas as you work on projects both inside and outside of school!
