The College of Engineering welcomes back two alumni on the forefront of space exploration. Join us for a conversation with Tory Bruno, President and CEO of United Launch Alliance, and Victor Glover, NASA Astronaut, for a conversation on the future of space travel.

STARTUP WEEKEND |November 9-11 |ATL (BLDG. 7)

Startup Weekend is a 54 hour long event in which developers, designers, and innovators meet for the first time and develop a business over the weekend. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their idea on Friday night, everyone will vote, and the best ideas will be chosen and teams formed around them. Teams will work non stop throughout the weekend and present on Sunday night in front of a panel of entrepreneurs and investors.

Join us for a panel discussion on the importance of diversity and inclusivity in industry. Hear from industry leaders on how they champion diversity initiatives within their companies. Panelists include Cynthia Murphy-Ortega, Doug Young, and Christina Hernandez.

tencate performance composites: APPLICATIONS engineer internship

Tencate Performance Composites is seeking candidates suitable for an ‘Applications Engineer’ internship. This is an intern-to-hire position and candidates should have already graduated from the composites program. Interns will be groomed for the position of Applications Engineer and will work on a succession plan once hired permanently.
