  1. ASTM is accepting applications for our $500 Project Grants. This award is open to students working on senior design/Capstone projects that reference ASTM standards. Full criteria for this award can be found in the attached application form.   1. ASTM International Technical Committee E04 on Metallography is once again seeking applications for their $1,000 USD Mary R. Norton Memorial Scholarship Award for Women. This award is offered to encourage women undergraduate seniors or first-year graduate students to pursue the study of Physical Metallurgy or Materials Science with emphasis on the relationship of microstructure to material properties.   1. ASTM is seeking up to two eligible students to represent the Society as part of the Washington Internship for Students of Engineering program (WISE). This 8-week in-person internship is designed to prepare future STEM leaders for the increasingly important issues at the intersection of science, technology, and public policy in the United States. The program is open to junior/senior undergraduate and graduate students with housing provided in Washington D.C. for the duration of the program.
