Over the past few years the College of Engineering has been raising the bar on safety. A safety mindset is important for students' future careers (this effort was started from the Dean's Advisory Council - a grouping of senior management from a variety of companies). Initial exposure to safety protocols at Cal Poly will provide a solid foundation for students after graduation. The Student Club Safety Community of Practice kicked off in the Fall of 2017. 

Safety officers, Presidents, delegates, and faculty advisors are invited to the next meeting for the Community of Practice on Friday, February 1, from 12-1 pm in 192-11.
