Summary of How We Live Out Our Values
We recognize that the earth and its inhabitants are being threatened by an overuse and misuse of her resources. As a result, we have redefined the meaning of "materials engineering" to ensure that environmental, societal, political, and ethical issues are core to the design process.
We, the faculty, staff and students, are in a constant state of intellectual and personal growth. This is reflected in new courses, updates to existing courses, and our engagement in the professional community.
