As an institution of higher education, our role in society is
to provide the critical intellectual and interpersonal skills
required for our citizenry. We have adopted the mission of
creating and sustaining a rich, learning environment that will
catalyze the transformation of our students into educated,
effective citizens.
In today's complex environment, being an engineer is so much
more than technical expertise. It requires one to embrace
their important role in society as an agent of change and it
requires an awareness of global challenges. Our goal is to
foster the qualities needed for the engineer of the 21st
century, enriching the life of the engineer and others.
