Associate Professor Trevor Harding visited South Africa this fall to investigate establishment of collaborative projects between Cal Poly and several universities in South Africa (Wittwatersrand University, Northwest University, and University of Pretoria). During his visit, Dr. Harding gave several lectures on student learning, motivation, and ethical development to faculty and students at these universities. Dr. Harding hopes to establish joint research projects and faculty exchange programs with the South Africa schools. He is also interested in establishing study abroad programs and service learning projects for Cal Poly students.
